As a third generation automotive dealer, Johanna brings the family into the daily life of a family business. Johanna returned to ACC in 2010, but had grown up visiting and working in the dealership while her mother, Cathy Ellis served as Dealer Principal since 1988. Johanna's journey away from Atlanta in 1998 led her to several locations, including an internship with MBUSA in Montvale, NJ, and most recently in Memphis, TN. During this 5 year period in Memphis, Johanna had her first venture into entrepreneurship, as well as the opportunity to work alongside the management staff at the family's automotive franchise there. All of this experience prepared her to take over Atlanta Classic Cars as President and Dealer Principal in 2015 after her mother's passing. Johanna and her staff strive every day to carry on the tremendous legacy built by John Ellis IV, founder and grandfather, and Cathy Ellis, since 1975.
Outside of the dealership, Johanna loves to call Atlanta home and is active in the community. Her passions include raising awareness for various community organizations, including serving on the Boards of Meals on Wheels Atlanta, Goodwill of North Georgia, and Open Hand Atlanta. She enjoys exploring the wonderful restaurants, music, culture and the active community available in our great city. Johanna looks forward to continued development as an Atlanta business and community leader.
